CASS released Blue Book CR Pharma ranked No.1 on pharmaceutical CSR index

A press conference of “Blue Book of Corporate Social Responsibility: Research report on corporate social responsibility of China (2016)” and China Social Enterprises 100 Forum was held in Beijing on October 30th, 2016. The Blue Book was compiled by Research Center for Corporate Social Responsibility under Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). China Resources Pharmaceutical (“CR Pharma”) continued ranked No.1 on pharmaceutical corporate social responsibility index of 2016.

According to the Blue Book, CR Pharma is rated as leading practitioner in terms of responsibility strategy and management, stakeholder participation, responsibility communication, shareholders' rights and interests, technological innovation, supply chain management, employee care, legal operation and environment, health and safety, fully demonstrating its great improvement in social responsibility management and therefore finally gained evaluation experts’ recognition.

The Blue Book evaluates the current CSR management situation of top 300 Chinese enterprises and state-owned companies based on their performances in CSR management and the level of information disclosure. It also summarize the industrial CSR management level and annual development features on 16 key industries in China, such as power, household electrical appliances, real estate, food and pharmaceutical.

The Blue Book, which has been released for 8 consecutive years since 2009, is currently the most influential research achievements in the field of corporate social responsibility in China. The Blue Book has garnered high attention and widely recognized by government departments, industry associations, domestic and foreign enterprises, research institutions and Medias.
